What could cause my Toro lawnmower did lose his power?

I just bought it 3 weeks ago! I have a yard 3 / 4 acres and today is my time of 4 to use. I see the black smoke started coming out and began to lose power .... What could be wrong??? please help.

First do nothing to void your warranty! Everyone knows how manufacturers are always looking for ways to deny warranty claims! You paid good money (much of it by a Bull) to have a machine in good running order. Allow the dealer an opportunity to remedy the situation.
