The Art Of Indoor Gardening

How do I grow an indoor vertical garden in my NY apartment?

What materials, plants, irrigation and machinery have to do something like this in my small NY apartment? http://www.pingmag.jp/2006/12/08/vertical-garden-the-art-of-organic-architecture/ would be in a wall of the window. The ideal would be to water in the bottom and have some type of irrigation system. The more detail and product names better. I intend to build, but I do not know where to start.

i would think that the wire mesh or a lattice of small favors it, the most important thing you need to know what these plants, some may be personally collected samples off cliffs by the artist. you probably can find a good fertilizer store marking recammendation garden that specializes in hydroponics, I'm sure you can find a recirculation pump homemade / reservoir system maintain the nutrients and water flowing over the roots because gravity will do half the job. Yes, and make sure your window faces south or cattle have no light in winter. hope you built looks great, maybe you could Incorperated waterfall and aquarium / pond in it too. good luck
