What should I plant in my small garden?
I have a prepared 5x10 "area to be used for vegetables. I live in the area DFW North Texas. I would like to plant potatoes, some lettuce, and maybe a little tomato. How do I determine what and how much they can plant without overwhelming the area?
do tomatoes, are a nuisance especially in Texas. I had a garden at home, college (which was boring) and things he did very well were melons, peppers, banana peppers, jalapeno, and pumpkin ... things that were not tomatoes and lettuce. as far as how much to plant, each seed packet will tell how much of each plant should be only plan when you go to buy seeds. good luck
